तारे क्यों टिमटिमाते हैं।( Why the stars twinkle)

तारों से आने वाला प्रकाश हमारे आंखों तो पहुंचने से पहले वायुमंडल की विभिन्न परतों से गुजरता है। इन परतो का धनत्व ,ताप में परिवर्तन के कारण अनियमित रूप से बदलता रहता है। जिस कारण से अपवर्तनांक भी परिवर्तित होता है । अपवर्तनांक परिवर्तन के कारण तारों से आने वाली किरणें लगातार अपना मार्ग बदलती रहती हैं तथा हमारी आंखों तक पहुंचने वाले प्रकाश की मात्रा बदलती रहती है जिस कारण में तारे टिमटिमाते हुए दिखाई देते हैं। तारों के पास खुद की एनर्जी नहीं होती है यह प्रधान के कारण ही चमकीले दिखाई देते हैं यह आकार में पृथ्वी से बड़े होते हैं तथा अरबो की संख्या में ब्रह्मांड में उपस्थित है।

The light coming from the stars passes through different layers of the atmosphere before it reaches our eyes.  The density of these layers varies randomly due to change in temperature.  Due to which the refractive index also changes.  Due to refractive index changes, the rays coming from the stars constantly change their path and the amount of light reaching our eyes keeps changing, due to which the stars appear flickering.  The stars do not have their own energy, they appear bright due to the head, they are larger than the Earth in size and the number of Arbo is present in the universe.
