Direct current and reverse current ( दिष्ट धारा एवं प्रत्यावर्ती धारा)

विद्युत धारा:-- 

               आवेश प्रवाह की दर को विद्युत धारा कहते हैं।

यह मुख्यतः दो प्रकार की होती हैं जिनका वर्णन निम्नलिखित है:-

दिष्ट धारा:- 

           वह विद्युत धारा जिसमें समय के साथ दिशा में परिवर्तन नहीं होता है , दिष्ट धारा कहलाती है इसे D.C . के द्वारा निरूपित करते हैं।

प्रत्यावर्ती धारा:--

                  वह विद्युत धारा जो समान समय अंतराल के पश्चात अपनी दिशा में परिवर्तन कर लेती है उसे प्रत्यावर्ती विद्युत धारा कहते हैं इसे प्रतिका अनुसार A.C.के द्वारा निरूपित किया जाता है।

 The electric current that changes its direction after equal time interval is called the alternating current. It is represented by A.C. per symbol.
