आज हम जिस टॉपिक पर बात करने जा रहे हैं उसका नाम है  प्रिज्म आखिर प्रिज्म  होता क्या है इसकी खोज किसने की तथा फिजिक्स में इसका क्या महत्व है।

   प्रिज्म की परिभाषा:--
                        ऐसी आकृति जो दोसा मांगी माध्यमों से अपवर्तन सतहो से किसी कोण पर झुके हो प्रिज्म‌ कहलाती है।
    जब प्रकाश एक माध्यम से दूसरे माध्यम में प्रवेश करता है तो प्रकाश की गति परिवर्तित हो जाती है गति के यह परिवर्तन ही प्रकाश के अपवर्तन का कारण बनता है।

खोज:- 
      इसकी खोज सर्वप्रथम इसाक न्यूटन नामक वैज्ञानिक ने संग 1665 में की।
उन्होंने बताया कि प्रकाश का रंग वास्तव में श्वेत होता है यह श्वेत प्रकाश सात रंगों से मिलकर बना होता है जब इस वेद पकाश को प्रिज्म पर डाला जाता है तू यह श्वेत प्रकाश सात रंगों में विभाजित हो जाता है ।
यह रंग है- लाल ,नीला,पीला, हरा, ब्लू , इंडिगो,और बैंगनी।

 Definition of Prism: -

 When light enters from one medium to another, the speed of light changes, this change in speed causes refraction of light.

 It was first discovered in 1665 with a scientist named Isaac Newton.

 He said that the color of light is actually white. This white light is made up of seven colors. When this Ved Prakash is put on a prism, you are divided into seven colors.

 It is colored - red, blue, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet.
